SNOWBALL VS. SNOW CONE

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? THE ICE!

A Snowball is finely "shaved" ice that has a light, fluffy, snow like consistency. This allows the ice to absorb the flavor  giving you a flavorful experience from top to bottom.

A Snow cone is finely "crushed" ice that is crunchy and consists of large granules that do not hold the flavor throughout as the snowball does. The flavor goes straight to the bottom giving it a bland taste. This is why you end up drinking the syrup from the bottom of the cup versus tasting it in the snow.
